Government grants support to two Madeiran cultural associations

The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the allocation of financial support to two cultural institutions in the region, aiming to ensure their normal operation and the continuity of cultural offerings during the year 2026. The decisions were formalized through the following resolutions:

• Teatro Feiticeiro do Norte - Cultural Association: Under Resolution No. 139/2026, the association receives a financial contribution up to the limit of 20,000.00 euros to cover ordinary activity, personnel, and facility expenses.
• Funchal Municipal Band Association “Artistas Funchalenses”: Through Resolution No. 140/2026, the oldest philharmonic band active in the region receives support of up to 10,000.00 euros to ensure its sustainability and musical training.

Both program contracts are effective from January 1 to December 31, 2026, and are managed by the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture.
